Good Or Bad?

Hey everyone!

So, news has it (and it's true) that the university is no longer making The Society a credit-hour club. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but my guess is that 3rd years may no longer claim credit hours from our meetings.

Also, next semester, 'kokurikulum berkredit' will start, which means 2nd years will be having their own debate meetings, with separate lectures, activities, etc.

So, for those who are still around and who still wants to keep our debating spirit up, sound off.

However,

a) we may or may not go for Royals anymore, for the university might choose from the 2nd years.

b) we may or may not be recognized as a club anymore and thus may or may not get sponsorship to join any competitions,

c) most of our seniors are/has already graduating, so the Society is growing smaller by the year.

None This Week.

Hey guys!

No debate meeting this week (24 - 30 Jan) as well as next (31 Jan - 6 Feb) for both Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Instead, come down to FSTS cos they are having a public speaking competition. According to our schedule, we are suppose to have SPEAK! January, but since they're having the same thing, and based on last Wednesday's and Thursday's attendance, I've decided to cancel ours and observe how they run things. Could be fun.
