SPEAK! Returns.

Hey guys! Our monthly public speaking competition, SPEAK! returns after a 2-month hiatus.

Wonder how it works?

Topics will be released between a day to 1 week earlier. Upon (randomly) drawing topics, speakers will have 10 minutes to prepare their speeches. Speakers are to speak a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes (20 seconds grace). Bell will be rung 'once' at the 5th minute; 'twice' at the 6th minute and 'thrice' on the 7th minute. Speeches under 5 minutes will be disqualified. Speakers are allowed to bring notes to refer (but are highly discouraged from reading them).

It's as simple as that.

So, members, head on down to:

Speakers' Corner, LG,
BHEPA.
Wednesday, 29th September 2010.
2:30 p.m.

Oh, did I mention there's a cash prize up for grabs? ;)
